Drag time 2008
thought id post this up:
Drag Time 2008 Drag Time 2008, brought to you by Mckern and Associates Chartered Accountants and Boostcruising has been running for 4 years, and has provided a great action packed day with plenty of track time for Street Cars. The action takes place on Sunday 6th July 2008 from 9:00am to 3:00pm, at Willowbank Raceway! This time there are 90 street car spots to fill so get in quick. As usual your position isn't secured or your name on the list until you have paid in full. Drag Time 2008 entrants We have something special for you this year! McKern Racing will provide at the completion of the event (a few days after) a full schedule showing income, expenses and the result for the day. IF the event is profitable, the money will be invested in a separate account and interest earned. Next year, should the event be held again, we will discount entry fees for anyone returning from this year's event by this profit. All runners this year will be asked FIRST next year if they want to return, as a loyalty/incentive scheme. Should the event not run next year, the money will be given to charity. Should the event lose money, McKern Racing will cover it personally. An example is as follows:- Let's say the event makes $2,000 clear of costs (unlikely) and 50 cars come back next year, entry fee would be discounted by $2,000 / 50 = $40! Thus it would only cost $55 to come back again! This is designed to give the street car guys some return on their efforts and achievements. McKern Racing will most likely also spring some "random" prizes on the day for Street cars! Entry fee is $95 which covers 1 competitor and 1 passenger's admission. Don't forget that you will have a chance to reduce this for future years, and you still get your goodies bag and t-shirt. When you reply please post the following information: Boostcruising Nickname: Vehicle make and model: Vehicle Registration: T-Shirt size (S,M,L,XL,2XL,3XL): Class (ie boostcruising): Spectator Entry $10.00 per person (kids under 13 are free)! Thanks angels666 http://www.fordlaser.com/viewtopic.php?t=67751 http://www.boostcruising.com/forums/...ic=281469&st=0 |

i was thinking that same. but being a jambo style event. it's all the glamour and hype that people want. could be a good day out thou. and $10 is very good speccie cost.
i have 2 options:- 1 - spectate and complain about not competing all day. -or- 2 - compete and cover everyone in blue smoke every run. ryan |
