Actually speaking of custom rear ends on cars, on reflection I commented to my passenger several times how the Stivo was breaking rather late and up my clacker on a few occasions! I don't know if that was because he had someone giving him the same treatment and he needed the reduced buffer to stop safely? Or perhaps the abrupt stop would upset the tummy? Whatever, but it's expected that I almost run into the back of Nate on every cruise, and surprising (to me!?) that I was in a position to do the same to Twiggy this time around...

i was no where near my limits going down the range before caloundra....
you can never judge on the speed of the car unless you know they are pushing it as hard as they can. the toyota could have had brake fade? or could be just telling gav to get a move along? |

Yeah his car went great in the wet (I had to be careful with two bald tyres...), but I was too busy to look for him on the dry section when he was around, so I dunno where he was on that occasion. Going off what I've been told, they should outhandle our cars with some suspension mods...

When the Stivo was coming up hard behind me I was backing off to suit what you were doing when I caught up to you, not really any hurrying along to be done on those occasions... |

Yeah, I ordered a new tyre today to replace the shreaded one, but I should prolly order 2 more, but I want to just get through the other 3 at the same time so I can get a complete new set with new wheels... My tyres have been around since the Photoshoot cruise 09/2004, they've done some big km's by now I expect.

Twilight: off topic here...but where do i start looking for prebent pipe for home made exhaust?...been googling all night and ... well.. i think i'm a bit of a tard when it comes to these things :P
maybe i should ask exhaust places?? :P edit: oh and took your advice... loads of nail polish remover, hot water, soap, fishing line and 2 razor blades later, i removed all the salters badges, the RACQ inspection sticker, the window tint advertisment stickers and the "YOU MUST SERVICE ME AT THIS PLACE IN 3 WEEKS OR ELSE" sticker... i swear the glue they use would survive a blast from 3kilos of C4...
