Exclamation BEST 5 second "mod" you can EVER do !!!!!!

Hey guys n gals since owning "Asty" for the past
6 weeks something's been bothering me...

When upchanging gears around the 4000rpm mark
there was a "jerkiness" to the throttle response

Today in UNDER 5 seconds I solved it
Sort of knew what to do but had to find my spring box !
No... Not my running shoes..

TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA - DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

So thur ya go - Easy as & I shared it with you

If the throttle doesn't return back to zero position well. It highlights there is an issue. Bandaiding it with some extra pull of a third spring isn't fixing the issue.

ps- you're cable is about to fall of the bracket holding it to the intake manifold.

Basically the return spring us TOO light & when accelerating FAST
but not with your foot flat to the floor your foot would be able to
"bounce" on the light accelerator peddle - Thereby causing it too be jerking
May only be an Aussie delivered BA Astina problem - dunno ?

NEVER ever EVER have had this (problem) before...

A bit more thought AND -> 15 seconds later

Better spring gradient - Less of a pull & super dooper smooooooth....

Yeah thought the cable looked a bit slack projectR !
Will go give it a teensy tweak now

And maybe an added benefit of the 2nd spring will be that'll close off
better and faster when you pull off your foot and change gear

The cable had lain dormant for 20 years VK - Now adj correct with about a 1mm soft "flex"
