Well the clutch didn't arrive so at the moment the engine is still waiting to go into the car.
Pretty much every thing is the same wiring wise between the FP-DE and the FS-ZE so it looks like the Familia was OBD-I.
I checked that all the plugs on the FP harness fitted the FS and all plugs fitted the ECU so it looks like we wont have to swap the harness even though its not a huge job.
Hopefully if all goes well I might be driving it tomorrow.

Colour of the oil that came out of old engine when drained:

notice that the headers are a lot shorter and behind the heat shield are completely different.
