I found the Exedy HD to feel crisp for the first month, and then start to go doughy and somewhat standard after that. Never mind that though, make sure whoever does your clutch install, machines/balances your flywheel before the clutch is fitted.

Long time, Gav.

I have head that you can try taking off in second gear up a hill to clean the clutch plates by slipping them. Im not sure if this will fix it though.

I did that a couple of times with the Astina in 3rd gear to help machine the flywheel face down to a consistent surface. It actually does work, but will cost you 6 months of clutch life too... It's only a bandaid fix though.

You need to elongate the crank bolt holes, machine a bit of of the boss away to bring the face into tolerance with the clutch. And yes, he doesn't have an F series gearbox.

Modding the flywheel to that extent requires a lot cooperation from the crowd installing the clutch, and most of them can only do the most basic of machining. I think ppl are better off seeing NPC (Nick's Performance Clutches) and get something made up, or mod something off the shelf he already has.

Yeah, cams are here all beautifully boxed up with shims and I think cam pins too. They're sitting above my MS03 wheels.

Gav.
