Engine Mount Problem! =(

so.........i bought my rear engine mount from bourbs and left my car for my mechanic to change, he then calls me and says its not the rear... and its the front one in the engine bay which i dont think so.

i just want to ask u guys which one u think it is..

the symptoms are:
1/ vibrating engine and gearbox during 2500rpm - 3000rpm after that its fine
2/ sometimes hard to put into reverse
3/ gearbox feels like crap

really fustrating, one mechanic says the front another says the rear

usually the rear goes first cause its smaller than the rest..but if one goes( front or rear) its puts more stress on the other..eg..rear tears..engine moves more and starts to tear the front..

why dont u go in to the mechanics and have a look while on hoist..easy enough to see from under car
