Marc: Was a tough decision with the pinstripe for the back boot etc
Originally had the stripe stop at the start of the lip spoiler - looked off though I didn't want to run it all the way across because it would also look odd as the spoiler is on an angle etc Dem: Thanks Brisbane Boy: Thanks, its perforated sheet metal, pretty strong and pretty thick i don't like the supercheap stuff, we needed and angle grinder to cut the stuff i have on my front bar - close up pic below |

You might want to watch your intake/engine temps, as that mesh is a hell of a lot more restrictive that the open weave of the stock stuff. Even moving it's not going to be getting nearly as much airflow.

Suspension has been sorted ( i think )
Wheel/flat tyre has been sorted Now im getting somewhere Booked in for Thursday to have the pinstripe finished off across the rear spoiler When i get the garage empty i will re night shade the side indicators in the mirror covers, attempt to create something to cover the fogs so they are black because night shade doesnt stick to glass fog lamps Still trying to source a replacement tube or led neon kit for the one that got broken Then it will be time for a service |

Finally got round to getting photos of the rear lip spoiler after i had it redone to match:
And one with "cookie monster" aka [GEZZA W] in the background: Had the car serviced today, with a different workshop, pretty happy with the cost and seems to know what they are doing |

/admin Personally i'm not a fan of the front - the eyelids and the way the bonnet paint just stops bugs me.

Thanks Rupe ...
Its always going to be a "like it" or "hate it" scenario I guess it could have gone a few different ways with that area but probably wouldnt have liked it myself Took the workshop a couple of trials with the rear to get it to my liking I think the Mazda 3 looks too "gumby" without the eyelids Still looking around for a different front bar too |
