the bg `f` has a 4 bolt top mount which would mean you only have 2 positions, coz the bolts are in a rectangular pattern rather than square.
haven`t actually tried it though.......
what about the rear camber? thats only got 2 bolts :?

Hi guys,

Since some of you have had this mod done for a couple of months now, and no doubt go hard regulary. How (un)even has your tyre wear been thus far compared to usual?
I have had my Sumitomos for just 3 weeks and haven't really learned where they are inclined to wear out yet, so I may not try it for another couple months or more at this stage...
Oh, BTW, had a close call today going around the outside turn on that corner near the big satelite dish at Rochedale (for those who know it). I was going 80ish and had to go on the other side of the double white line a tad to make it at that speed. Oops, car coming the other way. What happens when you lift off the peddle mid corner in a FWD? Oh well, I'll see how well I fare when I get those sway bars!

Take it easy,
Gav.

Camber, Caster and Tow settings are different depending on what you intend to do with your car.
Point two five of a degree is not enough of a change to be concerned about IMHO. I have mine set in the below position and have not felt a difference  and have no problem with uneven tyre wear.

You probably could, but you'll have to hop in line and wait your turn!
I noticed Cosmo that the other guys are hitting the C-spot as follows:

yeah i'm still going strong with mine, has made it a lil bit harder to get out of the garage, due to heavier steering, but still no noticable problems

hey, after a night, i'm about to get the idea, i assume that besides A, B & C, there is actually a D position, which is the stock position, and has zero camber and caster angle? what i need to do is to turn the mouting block 1/4 clockwise on left, and counterclockwise on right, to get the C spot?

ugh... :|

oh, is it possible to turn just 1/8 clock (between C and the imaginary D), to get about 15' positive caster angle??

nope if you want that get a proper camber kit, which will allow unlimited adjustment

"remove the mouting block nuts"

does it mean the 4 nuts indicating the positions? thanks.

these would be the four bolts holding your strut tower in place

10,000km's in and the inside edge is seeing a significant amount of wear now.

Hard to tell if it is dynamic camber related, or toe related. Perhaps alternate toe settings could be of help? Or is the price of greater turn in and cornering accelerated tyre wear full stop? Anyone got any ideas?

hmm mine had over 15,000 and was all good... so sfc...i dunno!!!

could be straight line camber related too

i do a lot of straight line freeway driving, so my cornering is a lot less i suppose!!!

oh, I throw the old girl around some. Don't worry about that!

Very little freeway driving for me, so I guess we can't very well compare.

Static camber is at OE spec AFAIK and I got 35,000 out of the original tyres before I had to have them put down. But the tyre wear was very, very even across the face on those tyres, so I dunno either

i'm actually trying out the B spot... not as responsive - but doing this to check my wear patterns out... might just get me a camber kit to have camber in its proper place!!!
