FS: [VIC] - Ex-project car - 1995 1.8 Turbo BA Astina hatch
Hi,
I've sold my house and have no space for a project car anymore - so my BA Astina needs to go. It's currently unregistered. This car used to be well known on these forums, it has a 1.8 Turbo engine transplant and many upgrades and used to be daily-driven. I garaged with the intention of re-doing the wiring on the engine but ran out of funds and never got back to it. Unfortunately I don't have the time or space to store this car and sell the parts for what they're actually worth, so this could very well be a scavenger's delight - for example, from memory it has: * BP-Turbo engine * Recently upgraded to IHI VJ20/VF12 hybrid Turbo * Larger intercooler * K&N Pod Filter * Blow off valve * Fairly new clutch (I can get the brand...) * 17" wheels * DBA Slotted brake rotors * High output fuel pump * Short shifter * Coilover suspension * Red Takami bucket seats * Cream marine leather interior * Customised red dash with guage holders * Body kit with wing, side skirts, custom front bumper (plus another spare modified front bumper) * Chromed mirror covers * Chrome 'Lantis' door sills * Apexi RSM Rev Speed Meter There's no stereo but there is a spare tire. I will also include Volumes 1 & 2 of the service manual books, and the wiring diagram book. DISCLAIMER - The car was running when I garaged it, but it is being sold AS-IS condition, and has not been driven for years. Pretty much all of the interior panels are there but they're just being stored inside the car at the moment You will need to organise to have it towed from my house (Vermont South, VIC) at your own expense. I need it gone by Monday 7th August, after which it goes to the wreckers. I'm currently asking $1000 reserve. You could sell a few parts and already make your money back I think. PM me if you're interested. Photos here : https://photos.app.goo.gl/jOteKXWMHlyUkJUv1 Dave |

Wow, that's a good offer. Damn sad that it's at the other side of the world for me.

Good luck with sale.
This is the third turbo Astina I seen in the last 9 months and all not in Sydney sadly because I would have been extremely keen ! |

Is this Astina still around? Hope it didn't get taken to the wreckers.
Woah, it's been a while since I visited AstinaGT! |
