talking about people movers not looking good... check out the honda odyssey and a modified one! They so good looking and the front end was based on the design of a panther!

I have always loved Honda's.
I would like to own one at some stage, but giving up the MX5 is going to be tough........ I hope Mazda gets it's design **** together soon, otherwise they are going to lose a large part of the market. Better yet, they should give me a job and I will sort em out   |

what is mazda thinking
I got a feeling the Bj was the pinnacle for Mazda, nothing seems to compare with. My folks looked at the Mazda 6 and Mazda 3 and were disappointed. They ended up Buying a Honda Accord Euro so much better then the 6. The new Odyssey is a lovely car to drive, nice unique look to them as well. Rob

There are tradeoffs between the 6 and Euro. Namely that the 6 has ace handling and brilliant ergonomics but less power and those gay chrome Altezzas. The Euro has uber phat 4cyl power and cool styling, but lacks the little touches that make it a good complete package, ie: skit hatch and general boot access... I'd still go for the Euro out of those two anyhow, just for that magnificant engine.
But I agree with Rob about the BJ being Mazda's best most recent design. It far eclipsed the twin Laser with beautiful restyling in the BJII and J48 facelifts. I dig the 3, however I can appreciate that it is not so readily acceptable to as many people as the last 323 was... But still, who could not like the RX8? It is sex on wheels. Gav. |

those mazda 5's have the same chassis....engine as the 323/s's and a friedn of mine from canada whos living out here said they look bad, and are gutless and ppl are embarrassed to drive in them......lol
whats wrong with the boot access of the euro gav? My wife and I went and has a look see and the boot is fine (seats are split fold)...althoguh a hatch would be better. From memory the rear seats in the 6 sedan don't fold down? The hatch does though...not sure...or is it just that they don't fold completely flat. The liberty sedans have no slipt rear seats which is just plain stupid. |

When I was reading reviews comparing the Euro and the 6, the 6 supposedly had better boot access via the rear seats. I've not looked at both so closely that I could verify this. Not having driven either of them, on paper I would buy the Euro since it has an amazing engine, fresher design and no guimmicky chrome taillights... I am sad to admit that the 6 appeal has worn off me to a degree.

The 6 just won a safety test done by wheels, one of the safest cars in all aspects including handling, braking and structural integrety.
