Thumbs up Popup light owned itself

Just vistied someone who lives down a shingle road, when I got there I turned my headlights off - it made a sort of poping sound as the light went down, so I turned them on then back off it try and reproduce it, nothing.

When leaving I thought my lights seemed a bit dim, just before I got home I realised one wasn't going and when I got home I saw the whole glass screw in bit including all the silver shiny stuff inside the light was gone! Only a sharp edge of glass was left.

I think a stone must of been in there and when the light went down it just smashed it.

From memory when my sister had to replace one of hers the bulbs are like $80. Grrr.

Free actually, and my sister said hers was $50 brand new from Repco (this is in NZ).

Pretty awesome having a mate who owns a Mazda wrecker, guess I owe him some beers.

And yeah it was the glass and silver backing that broke.
