Pretty much any one does, if the spring is not tightened enough.

Hey its not the blow off valve that makes the noise.
The fluttering is the bov not opening , and forcing the air back through the blades of the turbo. Apparently sounds 'cool', but not a good for the turbo. As Dan said - if you don't adjust the spring properly any BOV will make this noise. |

Get a BOV that is ducted back into the system, the noisy ducted to atmosphere ones are inefficient and can cause lag/decrease performance.

Even the stock style Bosch BOVs will make a good loud whoohsing when plumbed back into the intake and the best bit is you instantly remove one reason to get defected!
I find that the Bosch (not great for high boost but good enough for the 14psi Stinky runs) has given better performance than the Turbosmart Type II Vee-Port it replaced. Probably could have adjusted it better but at least it worked. A.

I have a Mitsubishi Starion fitted with a T3 turbo that makes the flutter. It is currently running 276KW at the wheels and it's not hurting the turbo. Ryan |
