Suspension help
Hey guyz, i am a new member and recently bought my first car 91 Bg Astina manual, i put some rims on and was wondering whats the best way and not so expensive (being a student im broke lol) way to lower my car?

welsome,nice car looks in good nick.
lowering ur car for looks? if so id say a set of king springs all round,prob get them fitted for $400 good luck |

I'd say kings as well, probably just lows, not super lows. If you sweet talk some of the sydney members they would help you install them, rather than paying someone to do it. I picked up a whole set of new king springs for $220, so they are not too expensive.

ok thanx alot guyz, il prob get sum and i have an auncle that can probli fit it for me. Do any of you hav a pic of ur BG lowered with king springs?

I am putting super low, but how big are your rims, 17" you will have to roll your grades cos i had to when i got 17" and my car isnt lowed yet. and also dont cut the suspension cos that doesnt work, i tried it.

you should NEVER cut springs not only is it illegal but very dangerous aswell especially when you can new lowered ones for $220. im going to put a set of coilovers in mine more for performance than looks and they are fully adjustible

lol yeh i wouldnt think of cutting them. And yeh they are 17'z so looks lyk i have 2 roll the gaurds up, How do i do that but, proffesionally or is it something i can do on my own?

Get your guards rolled proffesionaly.
You could do it yourself with by rolling a piece of 2" pipe between the guard and the tyre but it's risky, don't do it.
