What's the difference between a Mazdaspeed Astina and a Astina GT?

I think it's a bit of BS personally. There's no official MS model for the BG Astina listed in any of the MS Touring Kits catalogues or parts brochures i've got.
Parts for BGs yes, but no standalone model. It's just been optioned up by the original owner when bought. However i'd kill for the badge on the back left though LOL

yep sure is BS on a mazdaspeed Edition
but it is a mazdaspeed ENHANCED. Iv'e seen panels like that before on many different types If your old enough to remember. You cna go back and think of the HSV's There were HSv's like the - Goupa SS and the HSV SV88 then the HSV ENHANCED models. Well mazdaspeed - did alot more of the Enhanced models, but you won't find any before about 1992. I find alot more GE Mx-6's - KF powered ones are usualyl Enhanced. bits of body kit but not tag in the engine bay but does have the side badge etc. Then a Full 95 mazdaspeed Mx-6 complete kit - KL-ZE - usaully manual as well. Has a funyn tag in the engine bay a bit like on the back but chrome and it's date that's very close to when it came off production like and nunmber. Plus the code on the main plate has more filling in it. All the other lookalikes - were auto's had same full mazdaspeed kit, side badges but nothing insdie and nothing under the hood. I'm still not positive on the Mx-6 being a full mazdaspeed model. I'd be more inclinded to say it'sd astina Gt with mazdapseed enhancments. It proberly has a full mazdaspeed exhaust etc or what ever was in the catalouge. I've seen that type of badge on the back before but not exaclty in that postion and usually it has the rest of the normal decals. I'm personally surprised it does not have some sort of intake change. bvut I guess they might not of opted it. |
