sms/web acronyms website

G'day, after reading various stuff online/forums emails etc & not knowing half of what I was reading I finally looked up this site, it seems to list more abbreviated/acronyms than anyone would ever need, & I thought it might be useful:

http://www.netlingo.com/acronyms.php

Warning though there's a listing for just about every insult/rude word invented too.

Another good one is urban dictionary which includes more than just acronyms.

You're fighting a losing battle there. Grammar, sentence structure and spelling are becoming a forgotten art these days.

One thing that really bugs me is that these days nobody seems to know the difference between the words 'brought' and 'bought'. Everyone has said 'I brought a new car' or 'I brought something off ebay' - no you didn't, you bought it! It's all over this forum, as well as many others.

Remember:
  • Buy, buying, bought.
  • Bring, bringing, brought.
