So i have made a decision to make the old gal look and sound new

What do you mean by pop up bulbs? Please don't put a HID kit in as they will dazzle other motorists due to the reflector type housing in out lights. Philips Diamond Max are close to the best you could get before you start melting things.

Im not sure yet on what im gonna put in the pop up's , wont be putting HID Kit in.

Sorry to de-rail a thread...But can you actually install HID's into pop up headlights? I know you physically can, but wont the wires that hang out risk getting tangled, or stuck on something due to movement? |

Same as the factory loom Ben. There are wires poking out all over the place and they all keep clear of the actual mechanism pretty well. Nothing a few cable ties couldn't fix though.
