suspension questions on my BG 323
so i have some questions, searched a bit but with no specific answers.
i have an odd clunk in the front end, usually from bigger speedbumps. the car handles perfect, and shocks react better than anything ive ever had, no gas noises, no bouncing, very firm. what would you suspect is the problem, all ive been told so far is, probably bushings, possible stuffed shocks *but theyre perfect in action* and maybe worn bolts. impressions? additionally, it handles great now, im after nice handling for cruising through nice mountain areas, not to mention the great roads i used to ride on my old moto *maquarie pass, nasho, etc* do you think this combo is a good budget / basic everyday setup? - the shocks i have now - whiteline front strut brace - whiteline rear swaybar (middle of the range, not the strongest, not oem) would you reccomend the strongest? - kingsprings front and rear *30mm drop* - new bridgestone G-grids when needed *i have them on the car now, love them even though i havent found out how expensive :x |

worn something both or doesnt matter.
and the shocks i have now are just generic, not sure of the brand but theyre in great condition as per handling goes at the moment. ill find out what condition with a safety check though. i know you have KYB at great prices and im interested but it depends on my budget. and my tax return if my tax return is decent ill be looking at getting about 1100-1200 worth of parts. |

Could be the driveshaft, maybe inner-CV. Does it creak at all around corners? Especially when going around a corner up a hill?

nah its not creaking, so id say yeah some worn bushes, possibly lower ball joint.
the rubber strut tops still look good but its a possibility too. |

ive got fairly firm front suspension, ive bounced it before, with about 1.5 inch of travel, no clunk from that.
