FS: [AUS] Mazdaspeed Seat Brackets for BA, BG and NA/NB

Mazdaspeed seats will fit in any car, but the seats themselves have an integral rail that cannot be removed, unlike most aftermarket seats.
This means they require a set of adapter brackets that mount to the corner of the integral rail for each different car.

These brackets are quite hard to find for most models, and are unavailable new from Mazda/Mazdaspeed for anything pre-2005.

So, i'm looking at getting drivers and passenger brackets replicated for:
- CBA Lantis / BA Astina / 323F
- BG Astina / BG Familia + Protege 3DR Hatch and BG Sedan (not 4WD) / Eunos 30X / Mazda MX-3 / Mazda Presso / Autozam AZ-3 / Eunos 100
- NA/NB MX-5 / Miata / Eunos Roadster

- No BJ ones at this stage, as i'd have to find them on the auctions and i don't think i've ever seen a set!

This will give anyone looking at the seats a much easier time to fit them - it's just a few simple bolts.

Projected cost is $85 per seat.

Ideally, i'd need 5-10 firm orders of each to make it worthwhile, and to cushion some of the $800+ outlay for each type.

But honestly, i'd be happy to sell a set of brackets with a seat for a decent amount less, just to sell a seat.

Interest?

Here's a pic of the bottom of a Mazdaspeed seat, showing the integral rail. I've had a good look at the rail and it's part of the seat - to remove it would make the seat collapse!

After getting a couple of questions about this, these brackets bolt to the seat, and then bolt to the floor.

The large holes are the the ones that bolt to the floor, and the 2 set of small holes bolt to the studs on each corner of the rail on the Mazdaspeed seat base.

There is no need for anything else to fit a Mazdaspeed seat to your car, apart from a set of these brackets.

+1 BA Astina passenger bracket for me.

Got the Mazdaspeed Sport seat for the drivers side at the moment and need these brackets to put in the passenger side seat LOL. Pretty good seats compared to the standard series 3 ones.

They don't exist for BJ - they were never made by Mazdaspeed.

OK, prototypes are currently being made for NA/NB MX-5, thanks to Scott B / SJB Engineering

Both Drivers/RHS and LHS/Passenger brackets will be made. Please indicate your interest! Projected cost is around $98 per side, or $190 for a set of both sides.

You'd have to buy a passenger side set, as otherwise i'm left with 2 useless ones

As for BG, i've got a set of BG FWD ones that might be done one day, but i don't know if there's really demand for them. I've never seen any for BG 4WD, so they'd have to be mocked up/CADed and made - but it's possible. Would really need some firm interest for either of the BG ones though.
