fuel line bead

Is it necessary to put a bead on the metal fuel return line where the rubber hose joins at the bottom of the firewall? I would usually however i only have 3/8" and 1/2" pipe beaders, not the 5/16" one that i'd need for this job. Being a return line it is not under as much pressure as the feed line.
Wanted to get the fuel lines finished tonight, ordering a 5/16" pipe beader will take weeks.

Solved with a hardline to male AN adaptor.
Done,dusted.

Good stuff. But yes you should. even if at idle it's only on couple of bar, it's still got enough force and you will find it would leak.

It's a funny thing when some people GO EFI and think oh it's not the main line so it don't need to worry or the like. but they get a constant leak. they only find after letting it sit at idle for some time
