Am looking to supercharge the beast next year with eithe the 2.3 miller cycle or a custom KL-ZE with the blower.
Probs so far: cant get much info on the miller, how easy to fit to KF mounts etc, availability of aftermarket parts, will any parts swap from the KF as they will for the KL.
How much potential does the motor have for high hp .
Any links/sites youve seen please feel free to forward.
Cheers
Peter

YAY

Check it out, have a read, some EXCELLENT info at the bottom links too.
yeah i emailed a mob about the LSD, and you're looking at about $800AUD landed (+ import duties and gst i spose).

Apparently they're very hard to get a hold of though

But if a group buy came up, i'd definitely be in

No they don't use a F or G series box, but i have reason to believe that they use the same diff as a G series.

Contact GTXWGN for more info...he got his diff's out of an 86 telstar to make his 4 spider gear diff.

Rupe - who did you email in regard to the diff? Are they able to supply us with any other design specs. Ie, pinion gears (2 or 4?). This will be a big tell tail to it's strength. If they are a 2 pinion, I'll be stand off issh, unless they can give a power rating.

whats so good about the Telstar box? If it is worth anything let me know cause I've got an 85 & an 86 TX5 ghia's both ok for wrecking (body damage only).

I'd like to know how many pinion gears the diff has. Also, if they can provide what sort of power rating they can handle. Eg, 280HP at the wheels, 400Hp etc etc. What it's configuration is, eg 1 way 2 way or 1.5 way.

May as well ask if they will provide a group buy discount and how many numbers we would need.

Thanks dude.

Chipa, nothing is good on them. I was only saying that they have the same diff.

And would it fit either F or G series box.

If LSD group buy will fit only one sort of gearbox, better make it a G.

the LSD only fits G series, afaik

interesting news today - i bought a g series and an f series

the g series for the same price as the f...because they didnt know it was a G...suckers!

Code is G5MR....which means it's not a BA g-series...so does that mean it's from a BG astina then?
