Cruise - Sydney to central coast cruise

So I think we should start to organize our next cruise.

Now I was talking to a few of the guys at work and was informed about galstone rd, which is apparently a good drive so the drive could start at somewhere like north parra maccas and head through galstone rd than up onto pacific hwy and onto central coast.

So what you guys say.

Friday night or Sunday arvo cruise?? When. Next long weekend?? To long??

double demerits on long weekends and not many on here have lots of points or go unnoticed by the police. So they won't want a long weekend.

galston gorge is not a good place to stop it's a good fun road when no one is on it. Times you use it should be - when it's empty - weekends now days it's not too empty.

My suggestion to you is

You start at thornleigh maccers - gosford - terigal, hit the old road north then head down freeway - berowra waters ferry ride - then galston gorgre road. then thorneligh again. Or a mix of that could do Galston in morning then berowra waters ferry run freeyway up to goasford and old road back.

I remember Rob80E doing 3rd on the way back in summer along the old pacific highway. I sun burnt hard and it was awsome.

you can do all them at night but I don't recommend it to anyone who has not driven them at night often. As on the last cruise IMO some people were just looking for trouble - others well I don't go through brake pads 25,000k's and still original and only basic pads. yet I was keeping up with what I considered to have alot more power.
NOt that I care if anyone ends up in ditch I just don't think it's good idea at night if you don't know the roads.
