car dying
sometimes when i turn off my lights when the engines ticking over the car dies. or if i turn an brake at the same time. only happens when car is ticking over. what could be the problem

battery
cant be the battery its only about 6 months old. an why would the alternator cause it when theres less load on it

What happens when the car is running (at idle) and you switch the lights on? Try doing this once the car has warmed up so that the idle is not higher than normal.
Also, see if the same thing happens with the fan going full speed to off or turning the AC off.

never happens when a load is put on. just when that load comes off. it kind of feels like one of the cylenders doesnt quite fire

IAC or Idle Air Control
On the under side of the throttle body is an electricly operated motor that controls an air bypass valve. This lifts the idle when you: turn on the head lights turn on the A/C turn on the rear demist operate the power steering a few other things or if the idle gets below a specific limit. Take the plastic pipe off the throttle body and give it a soak. Use a spray lube like RP7, WD40, Penetrine etc... and leave for a few hours before starting the engine.

are you talkin bout the tube that runs from your resonator to the IAC thats the only tube i can find?
