Sard rail adaptor not fitting?

I got a SARD fuel pressure reg off ebay (genuine one, not a rip off) and i also grabbed the adaptor for MAZDA style engines (BPT).

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SARD-Fuel-Pre...QQcmdZViewItem

LIKE that one (obviously thats for mitsus...but u get the idea)

Anyways, I had a spare few minutes so I ran downstairs to check that the adaptor would bolt up. Pulled out the stock one and the bolt holes line up fine with the new one......but it wont fit in....its like its slightly too thick? and thats without an o-ring on it either....has anyone else had this problem? I was thinking I could always like....sand it down...slightly...but thats pretty dodgy....

I think you know your answer thou its either make it fit or get another one.
How long did it take for the fuel reg to get delivered & you are happy with it ???

ive never seen a genuine sard one..but yea, it looks to be the real deal, even if it isnt its constuction seems pretty solid and it came with a 1 year waranty from memory. Plus if its modelled off the real sard ones....it should pretty much be as reliable i guess :P but yea, i got it fitting...I sanded the adaptor down :P dodgy but it works, is a tight fit still. And no, i dont think it is a genuine adaptor, it just said it is an adaptor to fit a sard pressure reg to a mazda
