Scaling up AstinaGT Activities

This may not be feasable and alot of what I am about to say stems from the Hype of Wensdays hugely successful cruise.

But I propose that we scale up our Club Activities, like more regular cruises and the club having representation at high profile events such as Autosalon and maybe even getting the club into magazine photo shoot (this idea was thrown around before but nothing came of it).

What i would also like to see happen is see more regular cruises happening in particular teritories. Last year in September Jye12c put together a great little cruise we had about 13 or 14 cars, regular cruises such as these would be great.

The idea of AstinaGT annual cruises has also been thrown around but nothing came of it. What I propose here is once a year everyone meets up in the Sydney area, as it is very accessable for members from 3 states. This Annual cruise would be great opportunity for nearly everyone on AstinaGT to meet up and put faces to the names of people who they talk to Online.

This is just an idea it would be great if it could happen, its very ambitious and im not holding my breath on it but it would be cool if something came of this post.

Cheers, Craig

Too much politics with going to shows... leave that to your team dreams and the like.

Regular cruises are a great idea, just need someone/group to be responsible for organising them so they are consistent.

Very true, on Wensday me and brad were discussing the idea of making a trip up to QLD for the Fast Fours Jamboree but its about the same time as autosalon so maybe we will have to find another time.

LOL, when I tried to get the mega cruise happening to QLD, I was met with a resounding silence.

Good Luck with that one! We will be in QLD in April/May sometime, so lets get one organised for then. The weather should be really nice for it.

tidy: Your enthusiasm is awesome, and I am more than happy to work with you on cruises. I think people have enjoyed the cruises I have put together too. Alternatively, the cruises you, James and Arden have organised are also fabulous!

Go For It!

You don't need to ask anyone to set up a cruise.
Just grab the ball and run with it.

If you organise it, they will come!!!

LOL!!

I will be offline as of next week for a couple of weeks, so I won't even be able to read email, but Tony, Dan, Dave or Adam will be around if you have any problems.

I wanna be there for the next cruise!!!!!!!

I was thinking about it last night and if I give people some notice I think the QLD could be a goer, maybe not as big as the NSW cruises but yeah I know of a couple of people who will not miss the fast fous jamboree.

That sort of thing would be great what time of the year do fordlaser.com hold there annual cruise. It needs to be a time of the year where everyone can make it or atleast nearly everyone.
