Help with 2002 SP20 Protege mazda 323 protege: front shock stroke length

engine size 2.0L, BJ10S2

I was told one of the front shock leaking oil after service and they charge me $500 for the parts. However, a pair of KYB front shock is only around $260 on ebay. I check the KYB website, they are two listings for the vehicle. 333350-333351 is 34mm from base of spring mount while 333274-333275 is
105 mm from base of spring mount. Which one I should use ?

Also, any differences between gas and oil shock ? From the online reivews, KYB is good.

thanks in advance.
