Be careful not to get too wide diameter piping. Not sure of the GT vs GTS MAF in australia. But if the GT != GTS then youll prolly run into hesitation problems with wide diameter pipe.
Also for the KL-ZE you realise you will need to get rear discs right?

The KL-ZE will happen in the next few years (I'm still saving haha), but I plan on converting to rear discs in the future anyway - I was just going to buy a wrecked 1.8, and pull off the brakes from that then fit them to my car

Its just a tad awkward when you walk out to wash your car, and you are presented with a huge, motherf'ing massive spider....
Ahh well, the pressure cleaner took care of him Finally bought all of my supplies for my CAI install, just have to find the time to put it all together I guess! (shouldn't take long, but uni homework is screwing with my head) Damn Mazda, moulding the MAF to the stock airbox... so now I have to make a bracket for the MAF to sit on the aluminium pipe I have.

How hard would the conversion be though, keeping in mind the car has a 4 stud pattern at the moment, and the later model Mazda's have 5 stud pattern.

So now I'm after some half decent 6" component speakers after officially destroying my Soundstream 5x7"s . They'll be running from a 4 channel amp too.
I want it all to sound sweet paired with the Soundstream 6x9"s I have sitting at home and cant really be bothered installing Anyone have any suggestions?

So it turns out I don't actually have to fork out the money for new mirrors! (I'll be replacing the left hand side one later on)
I spent my day off uni sanding, buffing and waxing the mirrors, to try and get a more respectable finish rather than frost-bitten, disgusting looking mirrors. It worked a treat SRI is now a WIP, may take a little while to develop as I have to make brackets here and there, for the MAF as well as a bracket to hold the piping in place.

SRI (or you could consider it a WAI) is complete! I tried to be creative on this one, made from a piece of pipe I drilled out a hole for the MAF and siliconed around the hole as well to provide an air-tight seal between the MAF and the pipe. I then bolted a pod to it, and hey presto, you have your new intake!
Throttle response was increased greatly, no hesitation either, and more importantly, no CEL

It's legal in SA as long the pod filter is secure and doesn't move around

I agree
It has to be secured (I'm knocking up a bracket as I speak), and I'm also getting an enclosure for it soon (mainly it has to be secured though) EDIT: Beaten to it
