Although an opportunity for cams has arisen, so maybe they will be first as I have no clue where to get those either...
if you ain't getting pistons, then it ain't worth spending money on boost guage and adjuster. As you'll be running low boost and no need to see/do pressure changes.

"those who hesitate" I feel your pain. I eyed off BAD300 (Merc Forum username) plates for a month or so & was waiting till' near registration to get them. When I finally bit the bullet to order them online......yep, they were gone! You can sure spend time looking up combo's too can't you

Hahah, yes!

Been on here for 3 hours so far on the RTA website looking for a good combo.
So far haven't come up with much that fits in the category to be only the $90 p/year as apposed to being $470 p/year

i hate the yearly fee for MI-92-KE
i hope they abolish it.
however the fee is so worth it.

gettin people messagin me saying they saw me
gettin randoms leaving messages on my car.
cause i leave my car outside work and they leave me phone numbers on my windshield.
(no joke...)

hope you find a good one.
are you limited to SLY something or something with sly in it?

I found these!
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/PISTON-SET-MA...item255c9f3c93
or
http://cars.ebay.com.au/New-Wiseco-1...mZ150529919846

But the bottom Wiseco piston set says that there is a 1mm overbore, meaning I would have to have to block bored to fit these?

Just double checked with the RTA. It's an annual fee of $440.

I think I'll move to VIC. LOL.

!

Well, not going to QLD in a hurry.

Back on the subject of the pistons. I would be able to get away with a set of BPT pistons surely? They're much much cheaper than the Wiseco ones.

Would depend if pistons were a better alloy but @ least they will give you the BPT CR.

I'd personal get the 1mm over sized and bore the engine out, unless you know the exact condition of your bore.. This way you will get that little more displacement and little new power 2
Those qld personalized plate prices were for lifetime, so a one off payment of etc
On topic FCUK you pay that much in nsw to have personalised plates PER YEAR?? wow now it makes sense why the stock ones are yellow
