I was using an IR thermometer to measure the temp of the pipe just so people know, it also showed my brakes were up to 150 deg!

I used a lazer Thermometer
on another note got a email from Andy's my coilovers should be here just b4 Xmas so not long till xxrs go on |

ok a mate of mine has crashed his 08 mazda 6 mps and im gonna steal i mean buy some parts off him im interested in the brakes wheels and seats so i need some information
1. i have read on different forums the front brakes are a straight swap onto a sp20/lazer do i just need the calipers or the whole brake set up lines, master cylinder etc 2.has anyone put mazda 6 mps seats in a sp20/lazer do they fit 3. do i need spacers to run the mps wheels |

I wouldn't bother with the brakes. The rotors are very heavy and will make your car much slower due to the additional rotating mass. Just get better rotors / pads for the SR2 and call it a day.

ok update from yesterday lol went to mount tyres on the xxrs but the work valves are to big lol so i will be sending them to the wheel repair down the road to drill out the hole to fit.
the edfc arrived from hi octane racing for the tein super streets getting excited not long now |

ok so a few things have happened over the xmas new year period
sold my xxrs to my mate for his honda received my teis super streets finally for xmas my aunty game me her old mazda 6 mps wheels they need abit of work but they will do for now till i find the right set of work eurolines day i came home from wagga they tires are 225/40/18s went to work stripped the tires and masked where the damage was as you can see there is alot of damage this wheel is the worst wheel started sanding and filling all the rims after sanding the filler put down a layer of spray puddy on all 4 |

if you own a ford sr2 with alloy wheels the centre caps fit perfectly in the mazda 6 wheels i will be getting a set of d1 spec blue wheel nuts on saturday aswell
here are some fitment pics plenty of space between the strut and wheel still need to sand the spray puddy then will be painting the rims in 2 weeks in matte black also the coils woow will put up a pic soon and i have 4 federal 595 215/35/18 tires coming from federal tyres Last edited by sikwitit; 08-01-2012 at 04:14 PM. |

ok painted my wheels gloss black few imperfections but it was my first time using a spray gun and 2pak paint but as i have said b4 these are temps till i find a set of work eurolines so they will do.
my home made spray booth which had a few holes lol me ready to paint sorry about sideways photo painting the inside of the rims then 3 layers of gloss black b4 clear after 3 layers of 2pack clear in the end im happy with them for a first timer will be taking them into work in 2 weeks to fit tires to them gotta wait till the paint drys properly |

3 coats of clear will do that
congrats on the plastic spray booth and good job on the rims, bet you can't wait to get them fitted (after curing time) the wait will be the killer
