DID some one say they wanted an update haha

over the weekend i got some help from kris (ice88) and we dropped the k frame, grinded off the rear engine mount bracket as it isnt being used anymore, painted the k frame, painted the sway bar, installed the sway bar and new superpro bushes, reinstalled the k frame, installed my new front DBA slotted disc's, installed my bg non powersteering rack, painted my new laser front and rear engine mount bracket.

Sweet, that fresh engine bay must be a treat to work with.
The bg rack, keen to hear your thoughts when you test it out.

What conclusions did you come to in regards to crank/cam sensoring?
Andy (adaptronic) suggested using the 4-1 trigger alledged to be hiding in the dizzy rather than the mx5 cas/cmp sensor.

I had it figured but it's gone now.

yer i have the wiring somewhere for that. will be looking into that in the next few months. Ryan its easier to use a s1/s2 dizzy as the wiring for that dizzy is eassier to fine and people have converted over to that dizzy style (from coil) before.

altho i will be using coil packs i'll still need a dissy to get the 4-1 signal. i THINK its the same as a BPT dizzy but not 100% sure.

Why not use MX5 CAS and the 36-1 tooth wheel from an MX5?

Will be better then using 4-1 signal. The 36 tooth wheel will provide a higher resolution image to the ECU to work from thus providing more accuracy

EDIT: Also allow you to use a vvti head
