Cooloola Car Club Skidpan Day

Dave's White Starion.

My Car And a poorly running Torana.

Even the girls get out and give it a kick in the subaru.

My car running the motorkhana courses.

Was a good day, had a blast, got suspension right by 5th stage and got the feel of the car by then also. Was a bit shy of the course at 1st but got a little more adventurous by the middle of the comp.

I would be interested to see how different Motorkhana is on a wet skidpan

I have only done it on grass

they are good fun and teach you a lot about car control

handbrake turning skills

the biggest thing I learnt last time at Motorkhana was halving my stopping distance on grass

other cars on the day, BMW I6 Z3, Nissan R33, Nissan N14

Hot carbon fibre wheels on sweet R31

Even ricers are in Gympie, home of the bogan, beer drinking, V8 tough man.

Go the focus!

This chick borrowed her husbands work Mazda Bravo ute. Look, the toolbox is still on the tray!

Tarmac Motorkhanas are great. I really enjoy pulling the hand brake on at 40kph to swing the car around orange markers.

this was yesterday, 14th of May. the one 2 weeks ago was a small event with no competiton as no one turned up as another event was planned on the same day. hence why this crowd was so big on this day.
