Question dash removal

hey ive been wanting to paint the plastic cover round the speedo n that.so the other day i took the dash apart but it seems the perspecs is atttached to the cover.(glued or somehting)ive seen other cars done it like later astinas n that but i was wondering if anyone with a 89-93 has done this and could they tell me wat they did about taking off the perspecs?

if its anything like the BJ's it'll be clipped in. you'd need to take the instrument panel out of the car to get it out.

yeah i got it out, like i unclipped the perspecs and the cover from the panel but the plastic cover is like glued to the perspecs or sumthing.

best place for this thread would probably be in the electrics category, as more people will look and my payner wont move your posts around ... we mainly use the QLD section to organise cruises
