[EOI] Movember cruise joint with PGA
hey gang im organising joint movember cruise for AGT and PGA (pulsar group of australia). Im quite aware that ryan has a christmass party lined up for either the 2nd or 3rd of november but never the less if there is interest we can def have another cruise either before that or after but i dont think 2 many people will want to go 2 close to chrissy.
however for those that will want to participate heres the rough idea at this time. 1)meetup at local spots then big group meet at springwood maccas at 10am 2)drive down to coast either surfers, burleigh, goldy. 3)If there is a request we can stop at hinze dam or somewhere there for pics. 4)get to coast and hit the beach regular activities such as beach soccer/rugby/wahoo/girls can tan lol. 5)have lunch somewhere there 6)Take some sweet snapshots of the cars etc check out other members rides and fun car related talking lol.. 7)Do whatever after its up 2 the people there on the day we can either go home or hang out n go dinner. So although the normal cruises are mt neebo or northside this is a fun day cruise where can can hit the beach and sun for a little while and generally rellax. for those with kiddys you can bring them along as were not flogging the cars so they wont be bouncing around in the back. Oh and ryan if you want to have like a combined cruise up northside or wherever yours is organised as i havent seen final details y not make it a joint cruise like the 'DA" cruise but make it the "pulstina" cruise . we can do the cruise and then later on the agt ppl can head back to yours and we can send the pulsar group home. im sure they can organise a after event 4 themselves. pending how many show up.... PS: this will be astinaboiv6's or -=Andy=- (pga name) first official cruise for both clubs so show up dammit

Q: Is this a "drivers" cruise or "posurés" cruise? Just wondering, as one of those reasons is why I don't go on OMC cruises.
Pulsars are better competition to the Astina than friggin Rollas anyhow... Gav. |

yes i agree id rather keep away from rolla owners, i know 1 and he was a total wank lol. Not sure how to take poseures into context gav but since i have never met any of the pga ppl i cant really say. not even sure they will be interested but i have checked and they have no cruises planned in QLD thread so y not do 1... im hoping i find them as helpful, funny and kind as the rest of the AGT members and hopefully we will just have a good day with other car enthusiasts not wanks.. PS: if i have no interest ryan can a poor ol lonly N15 join the rest for initial D/watever else is happening??

True mate Pulsars are better matched to the Mazda's in age and power. Corolla's are prolly a bit unfair with newer technology and more power. Enjoy the "SR20's are the best engine ever made debate" |

FJ20 is better than SR20 - strong crank and rods
on topic - joint agt + pga cruise sounds fine, all the slow pulstarts can bugger off just before my place. ryan |

Personally the SR20 isn't the best engine ever made. I would say that Honda has prolly got that tag well and trully sown up. Take your pick of a number of their performance engines that make an aspirated SR20 look pretty ordinary. Astinaboi you can qoute me out of context any time you care to but as far as I"m concerned Honda has and always will be the supreme Japanese car and engine manufacturer. Better than Nissan, toyota, subaru and even to your surprise Mazda. Others may come close but they need a bit of help from some good ol' forced induction. |

i agree with u silva hondas are the way of the future and past in technology for a car at the afordable price range. way before any other manufacturers honda offered power everything. the accord has always maintained a touch of luxury and the s2000 is dynamic with its n/a engine capable of keeping up with the big boys on the track.
however i will quote u hehehe.. back on topic the cruise will probably be part of Ryans end on year cruise except the pulsar ppl will go do their own thing afterwards.

I think the PGA cruise should be separate from Ryan's Christmas cruise pleasems. I just think it's better to have the usual tight little group together to talk smack and stuff without too much else happening.
Honda = Performance Mazda = Styling Toyota = Reliability Nissan = WTF? |

300zx tt skyline (all different series not to mention GtR) Pulsar GTi-R (rival of familia) silvia sr20det 200sx 350z 180sx pulsar SSS Almera and thats just the basic models there are alot of other turbo cars from nissan out there. Looking at honda we have: prelude vtiR (still not really a sports more of a luxury/sports) integra type R s2000 nsx civic typeR mazda: rx7 familia mps maybe sp23 and sp20 but they not really sports cars. cosmo mx5 - tho stock they are lacking mx6 - same as mx5 cant really call it a sports rx8 hmm cant b bothered goin into other manufacturers but hey add to the list.

hehe il have to agree with you ryan on that 1. However what would be the criteria for classification of a sports car??
according to topgear the pegeaut 106 GTi (or however u spell it) was classed as 2nd best in handeling in the world when matched up to a Acura Nsx, ferarri 350, 550 (i think), lotus elise, m3 BMW, 3000gt, skyline 32, vw golf VR6, and some others. so based on those results labelling a car a sports car it would have to rate high im guessing in performance, handeling, and .....???????

example:-
stock astina = family car my astina = performance car lantis a spec = sports car only a few changes turn a car into a performance car, just depends on what the individual classes as a sports/performance/race car i guess. ryan |
