Specific dash section removal?

Hi guys, I'm going to be installing a new stereo soon but have not yet figured out how to take out just the part around the stereo to swap it, if possible?

I also need to remove just the part around the cigarette lighter to check it as it's dead... it's not the fuse, and I'd like to just check the wiring first before paying an auto elec... lol

And this is for an auto dash so some steps will be different on the gear shifter etc

Cheers for any help.
