Cool how to change and find fuel filter on mazda bj 323 astina??

sup fellow astina cruisers... i need to find my fuel filter but i cant find it... is it an intake fuel filter or just outside the tank?

Ah well its a special unit that the fuel pump sits inside, and can be found under the back seat. You don't need to change it until well over 100,000kms or more, it used to be 80k but I think last time I checked it had moved to 120k.

120K was what I was told when I spoke with Mazda about this time last year.

Manual states 80K from memory, but it was shifted due to the effort required and it not needing to be done so early.

i dunno bout the bj but i recently changed my fuel filter on my bg and it was about halfway down the firewall a little towards the passenger side..
