AStina 323 Front Speaker Grills

What are your opinions on cutting these grills. They seem to block out alot of sound and I got the feeling that if i cut the grills and put a acoustic mesh instead it'll be alot better?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, seeing as i'm going to repaint/trim my interior. i was just going to take out the grill and expose the door :| But acoustic mesh sounds like a good idea. It looks good in my head, but i dont know what'll happen in reality.

You couls either go all out and make sure that you get matching colour acoustic mesh and fit it flush on the outside.
It should make a pretty good improvement, second to pod
