Help or Info needed

I have been asked a bizzare question, and after giving it some thought i have aboslutly no idea what the answer is.
If anyone could shed some light on this, it would be great, I'm checking the owners manual to see if it mentions it in there.

What are these 4 slots for, there is nothing behind the panel that i can see, i might need to look harder.

Thanks for info you may devulge
Dave

Those slots are for "climate control" equiped models.. They are for the sensor that you do not have..

That is for the 'internal' temperature sensor. the second one is on the right hand side of the dash near the base of the windscreen.

It must be a Ford thing then.

You'd think they would not put a part for a model that DIDN'T get bonus features.

Typical.

BA has three sensors for climate control. One behind the slots on the other side of the centre console, the wee dome thingie on the side of the screen vent and a sensor on the heater core.
