BA Lantis JTCC touring cars etc

I've got some pictures from Japanese websites that I saved back in the nineties. AstinaGT will let me upload a limited number, so these are some of my faves

Starting with greatest BA ever. The 1994 Castrol JTCC Lantis. As featured in the seminal car racing sim, Gran Turismo, as the Racing Lantis.

First Races

GT scheme

and later 1995 onwards

Yeah, K series. 290PS.

I actually just picked up a JTCC yearbook from 93 which has a feature on the Lantis, with lots of unseen pics.

Pretty sure the Castrol Lantis was 4 cyl. Custom install moving motor rearwards as far as possible, sequential box and tubbed front end.
That's all the JTCC pix I have. Anybody else have any please post them here.

the front splitter add on and the engine configuation has me interested.

look like the cut the whole bottom off the front bar and added on the splitter.

the engine also look like it has the exhaust ports out the back, so intake/itbs need that front air feed. guess that is what the little lip is on the front air hole in the front bumper is for.

i also looked at buying that V6 aussie rally car when it was for sale around 2006.

Where is it now?
I'd love to restore and race this car.

Almost Astinas
They're Mazda Xedos 6's from the BTCC in the nineties. Same as the Eunos 500 in Australia.
