Post How to make A/C 150% better - ALL MODELS :)

All of our 323's are "old" now & apart from making sure your belt's not
cracked & slipping here's how to get your aircon working a LOT better !

Firstly strip off all that cracked & perished foam tubing insulation (yes INSULATION)
Grab 20 or so zippy ties + 2 meters of foam tubing - I got mine here from Clark Rubber
The foam tubing I bought has marked on it:
09 019 K-FLEX Class1 3/4" ID x 3/8" TK M242416
BEFORE Pic - As you can see Ruby has had natural weight reduction...

Slit it laterally & do 'cut outs' around the 3 brackets & 1 a/c fill tube.
And prepare to wear a jumper in Summer
Pics to come but camera's bein' quirky...

Did my kq laser and BJ Asti last summer made 2 deg difference at the vent. Neither car had any insulation from factory

Need a little more lagging to finish the job on the kj. Also available at Bunnings Hardware Plumbing section.
