Nope,
Don't make me laugh,
Japan,
In that order.

They don't even come with front-cuts, you would need to find jap-spec doors to make them work and then you wouldn't have the wiring between the doors. Japspec mods that require wiring are just too bigger pain in the ass. If you have your heart set on it though you could ask Rupewrecht, he has a contact on Japaneese e-bay. You may be lucky and get the mirrors and maybe the switch.

I've kept my eye out for some (or BA ones anyway) but they never seem to come up! Even using different translators don't seem to differentiate between the standard and folding ones

Japan does not have the same side impact rules as Australia so Japaneese doors are useless to an importer. It would be interesting to know if they are standard or optional?

well after that helpful tip....

have a look at the Mazda 2 - the mirrors are similar enough that they would probably work and this was installed on locally delivered cars...

Rosco on ozmazdaclub can probably help you out with what generations have them or don't... that and i know he will probably reply

and god damn its fun driving down the freeway with the mirrors flapping in and out...

well thats what a friend did in the Mini Cabriolet, whilst wearing a pink hat for effect... he got noticed!!!
