Annual Cruise Shakedown....
Hi Everyone from the Plantation Hotel in Coffs Harbour.....
All of the AGT Family are now on their way home to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra. Kitty and I are still here, and could be here under better circumstances, but things are on the improve. Stinky has developed a water leak and needs medical attention so we've got to stay on until we can get mechanical access tomorrow. We'll post more in the coming days, but we look forward to reading everyone elses reviews of the weekend and seeing the pics... Massive props to Dan, Nate, Aleks, Bourbs, Kyle for your help and support today anytime, anyway, anything I will repay the favour. A.

Good to hear you made it to the hotel safe. Any details on the leak?
This trip only cost me an exhaust (lucky I got some spares ), bump-stops, struts, and some underbody weight reduction from the afore mentioned failures! Did either of the Nates bring my trolley jack back with them? I'm gonna need it to fix my own car. "Hmmm, upgrades...". Best AGT meet ever BTW. Gav. |

Was one of the best weekends I had, even though I seem to have missed the majority of the shinanigans, I had an absolute blast!!!!
It's not good to hear about your issues Kitty and Aaron, but last I hear, all was good, car was back, and you where staying another night to make sure you had enough daylight hours to drive home safely.... I had some issues of my own, I left to head to Brisbane for my week-long holiday, and got to Grafton before the gearbox went into lock-down mode stuck in 3rd. An ECU reboot was enough to fix the issue, but I still had that stupid japanese message on my dash, coming up more and more frequent. Turns out Bill and Ted where right, the fringgin thing was saying DIAG MODE, so I went into diag mode to find out there was a SUS 21 and SUS 22 Suspension error. After looking it up, it was p1ssing and moaning about the rear suspension, so I finally ran the forced diag-mode it was trying to get me to run, then the error messages vanished. After taking it to Toyota for a general health check on the computer, I found the rear of the car suffered a 1.2 tonne (roughly 2 vertical G-forces) of pressure to the rear, which kinda unsettled the TEMS suspension. After deleting the error messages, the car's fine, so all good my side. Leigh, I was more than happy to drive you up, it was a pleasure, and was painless, it was either drive up with you, or drive by myself, I rathered have someone to talk to, and good conversations where had. Had a ball when I was up there, but I got to admit, I rathered stay in Belenger, it was about 15 degrees warmer. I also have to stand by my statement Saturday night, That wasn't my baby!!! B.

I had a great time.
Almost didn't get there in the Astina after the timing belt slipped the night before i was due to leave due to a rogue bit of plastic cam cover. Had a great time driving up - giving the astina a chance to stretch it's legs for the first time in a while. and of course it was great to see everyone again, and a few people for the first time Next year it'll be in my 'back yard' apparently, so watch out.
