i only paid $3500 is that good?
Thats awesome!!! i spent three months finding mine and i thought it was cheap at $6000 ... and its insursed for $8650 ... but condition is always a factor and mods dont really add much to the value. if you wanted to well it now privately you shouldnt have to many troubles getting $6k-$7k

and as for your power result ... i ran a 60 kws in canberra against andys 82 ... andy rana 93 on this dyno which means i should be around 70kw ... which i spose you could put down to my exhaust and pod! either way its stilla quick car on the road!! anyway the electrician is about to cut the power so cya's

I got mine for $6300, it was a 93 SP with 196k on the clock. Best thing was it took less than a week to find and it was located in the next suburb from where I lived.

RAC insurance insured it for $10500 and said if I wanted to I could get it insured for $13000 no problems... in fact they kept asking me if I wanted to insure it for that. Guess they want lots of patched up cars running around on the roads (no write offs)

off topic but, since i have an insurance background, insuring the car for more than it's worth is not worthwhile. you have to prove the car is worth the amount you have insured it for (stolen cars only), but if the car is in an accident they will easily be able to work out what the car is really worth - more than likely the amount you paid for it or less.

all insurance companies are trying to do with insuring your car for more is to get more premium out of you.

back on topic - i want more power

yeah but its an insurance risk thing

if they put you as a write off, they stand to lose you as a customer

if an insurance company repairs a car, they have your excess, as well as your premium, and will have your renewal next year if they treat you well (which QBE didn't - so they can go blow goats)

there is a certain point where an insurance company says its a financial write off... if you insure a $500 sigma for $500 you won't get any repairs done ever, as you will quite easily be able to do that much damage or more... - there fore its a write off

if you insured that sigma for 1 million dollars you would always be getting repairs, as they are cheaper than the 1 million dollar value for writing the car off...

so dyno huh?? andy fix your car
