EBC Brake pads
My brake pads are finally ready to be replaced (squeak squeak) and I've been trying to find someone who stocks, or can get EBC pads. Does anyone else down here in sunny melbourne run EBC pads and if so where did you buy them and how much were they for a front set?
Or can anyone suggest a suitable replacement pad that will perform as well as the green stuff pads.

Can only get EBC Green stuff for the front. Ferodo DS 2500 are the shiznit at $180/pr+, but don't leave much change for a short shifter. As to where to get? Farks me

I'm think i'm going to try some RaceBrakes pads this time (when i eventually put my new pads on). Either some Comp2s or the RB-74s

Oh and another question, can you machine slotted rotors? The guy at Repco seemed to think they couldn't and they had to be ground down on say a milling machine or something similar.

A lot of people are saying good stuff about QFM pads - apparently cheap and good. Made up in Qld ...

thus some fluid will leak out and the reservoir will need topping up in the end. Jeremy

Ummm, hell no! There is no need to take the calipers off at all, unless you are doing something to an older caliper, such as replacing seals and inspecting piston/bores.

Agree with Chippa, You would only need to flip the calipers up out of the way not remove them.
I've had the Lucas on all four and they don't 'bite' they are very progressive and predictable with little to no fade. I've replaced the fronts with some cheapies and when I slam the brakes lucas on the rears out brake the cheapies on the front (something you don't wanna see in your rear view mirror).
