Rear break shoes - Any recommendation?
I have a 02 323 Protege BJ II 1.6 and my breaks are making noise recently, call one of the mobile mechanic to come and check it out, he said I have a worn front break pads so I got my bread pads changed this morning (pair of Bendix General), but I still hear the noise from the rear break, guess it's time to replace the rear break shoes as well (my rear breaks are not discs). Any good recommended rear break shoes? What brand and how much they cost roughly?
Thanks much!!! |

Shoes are shoes... Even in competition cars (like the one make Excel Series) we run standard shoes. There are competition lining available but they'd be massive overkill for a street car.
RDA shoes to suit are about $35 for the set.

They are both the lowest of the low when it comes to brake pads/shoes. Go with which is ever cheaper.
