4 corners on ABC tues nite

major story on reberthing, car jacking and fraud on 4 corners. the WRX that was in the same edition of hot 4's as dave/tonys car basicly paid for that with the profits of running the biggest theft/reberth/export of stolen parts to lebanon racket ever detected in australia. it will probarbly be repeated on ABC 2

haha imagine being a normal dude at an auction and seeing 2 car gangs verbally go eachother over the one car. or being a wrecker buying a car an having some shady dude come up and whisper to you that your business will be burnt to the ground if you keep on bidding :O

stuff like this happens...in sydney car auctions they have metal detectors before you go in, cause guys take knives and guns to try and win bids...its funny but its just stupid...

huh? 4corners is on a monday night and repeated on wednesday, how did u watch it on tuesday? haha

as for mr wrx, I blame the movies putting ideas in his head, especially fast and furious :P

I bought my astina from Pickles in Sydney and yeah, they have a huge bouncer with a metal detector before you walk into the lot.

Does any body remember the Osrams FREDDO green SIR WRX? Well I was at the Damaged car auction @ moorebank, Sydney when they picked up the damaged car, it was a stolen-recovered car that had hit a tree or something on the left front. A mate and I were looking at it as a possible project track car that looked fixable, then a guy tapped us on the shoulder and told us the one of the heads was ripped off in the accident, sure enough a look underneath showed the left bank damaged. about 6 mths later it was in Fast Fours with a twin Turbo transplant, the article clearly showed the original white wreck!

The car sold for $8600 !!!
