Hmmm, if this is the case, we only need two more buyers to garuantee a second group buy if some people needed slightly more time. I'll ask how easy it'll be to manage the group buy the size it is now. AND FMD! Yet another BA 1.8!!!

Nate: I'll talk to you on MSN before I add you to the list, I thought you were doing a big brake upgrade?
Dogo: I'll ask if 32 units gets us a better discount.
mazdamanik: You're a trend setter. But actually I think it was Andrew's fault dobbing me in that I had a contact at DBA reseller. And what a wonderful journey it's been!

hey
was looking at maybe getting some new rotors with tax money, since i need to fix brakes neways.have been reading over the posts....so just to get this straight..if i ordered a set for the front n back, they would be about $107-$117 per rotor(so say that price x4)plus $10 per rotor postage?so am i right to assume id be paying indefinately under $500 delivered?

You live in Logan, so I'd pick the rotors up off Andrew, and then I'd drop them off to you. So no postage cost for you. We're trying to see if Dan can distribute the rotos in VIC, and maybe see if Mazdamanik can do it in NSW? I'll distribute in Logan, and Andrew can distribute them in Brisbane...
Yeah, that price is each, scary huh? Well, atleast they are are around $20 cheaper each or there abouts. Makes it easier to swallow...

Hey just thought I'd add my 2 cents worth on this topic. I've got DBA slotted rotors on my BJ2 and while they stop well, I'm not sure they are as good as everyone makes out. I've had mine on for around 2 years, running EBC Green stuff pads and now I am finding that they have developed surface cracks in localised heat spots between the slots. It is like a roundish dirty smudge between the slots, and they are have lots of surface cracks in them. I drive fairly hard around the street with them, but no track use, and when I found the cracks on them I was a bit disappointed that they weren't a bit more robust. Maybe it's just me, maybe I'm just hard on them, I don't know, but that is just my 2c worth any way. Up until now though I haven't had a problem with them and they stop awesome.

lots of surface cracks is perfectly normal. it just says that you're heating up the rotors too quickly and letting them cool down to quickly once hot.

Hey guys, I've been slack soz. Been concentrating on other car things and whatever at the moment, I'll check up on the delivery options tonight and let you's know how we have to handle it. In the meantime, we've got plenty of numbers, and some people are happy it seems to wait a couple of weeks while their funds build up, myself included.

Can all of you send me your address details so that I can work out with Rupe' and Mazdamanik how we can spread these out to you guys in the lower states? QLD is taken care of, Andrew or myself will pick them up and distribute them up here, easy done.

Cheers,
