    G'day SP20XX,

I own a 2001 Mazda SP20 and want to replace the stock 16" rims up to some 17" rims.

Having a real problem in trying to find out what the stock offset is for the 16" rims, is it 45mm or 48mm or 50mm?

I've lowered my SP20 by about 30mm so the guards are just sitting above the tyres. I replaced the stock Yokohama 195/50R16 with a set of Bridgestone Adrenalin 205/50R16 with no scrapping on any of the tyres.

My question to you is what 17" rim and tyre will fit on my lowered SP20 without the need of flaring guards and any scrapping issues?

    Will a 17" x 7" rim with a +40 offset do the job?

    Thanks for your time.

    Regards

    Marshall (Sherrif)
