a great example is phly's car. seats, suspension, exhaust etc, bodykit, and now selling for 7500. one in good conidition maybe 3K unmodified? but. im guessing he still spent $1000+ for the bodykit, $500+ for exhaust/intake, $1200 for the seats, $1000 for the rims, etc... all adding up to the sale price. BUT slamming it, massive stereo and huge bodykit comprimising ride and useability will most likely lower the price. id prefer to build it myself, as most people seem to. you will NEVER make money off ricing up a ford or mazda, unless it was a steal when you bought it. (well, not literally a steal!)

fyi, ive spent more than $5k on this project already, and never expect to see more than 3-4K once sold in good condition, the problem is, people can buy a newer nicer car which looks like its been owned by a grandma rather than a P plate hoon...and thus choose something else, unless you can find someone who appreciates the work that has been done to it.
