Not only would it get into boost a lot quicker, but you dont have to muck around with oil & coolant lines, but yeah there are limitations of running no intercooler, but I would doubt you'd want to go over 12psi anyways
There is a bloke that has made a s/c fit into a protege in the states, but with where it sits (under the header) you cant run A/C, something that I like about the AAI kit, you still have A/C!
