furthermore to differences in the motor...
the cams are different profiles to make more efficient use of the turbo.
the pistons in the BPT are slightly recessed to bring the compression ratio down to 8.2 (BPT) from 9 or 8.9(BP DOHC) cant remember which one!?!?1
im not to sure as to whether the pistons are actually ne stonger in the bpt tho???

i was talking to one of the guys at Computech in town about two weeks ago and he said that they had just tuned a TX3 non turbs, for a turbo setup running about 6psi apparantly!! i asked what sort of ecu they had used and he said it was still the stock one... but it had ignition timing ajustments and such forth to balance it out. but he did mention it was pretty much at its limit!
