Can you take a pick of the new exhaust end so can see the wastegate flap and
turbine. I can see a bit or porting round the wastegate did you add the flap from the VF12 and have the hole enlarged to suit. Good to see is all done Have to get Jynx to take some picks of mine while its off the car as I am very proud of mine.

i believe the vf12 flap has been welded onto the vj20 arm and the hole ported larger to suit.
i havnt got a pic of the vj20 exhaust before it was modified to compare against the changes. but will look. |

Looks good. I've got the complete VF12 Turbo with 20R housing and custom Subi Dump on mine. It goes really well and is not that laggy. Yours should have even less lag using the VF20 exhaust housing.
You'll have fun |

now I face the problem of getting the intake piping fit without hitting the g'box
quicksilver, does your snout & inlet pipe come close to the gearbox ? is that 3" diameter ? also, did you get the space from the compressor turbine to your snout ported into a funnel shape or keep the flat surface? |

Its just a flat surface for now.......time withstraints. I will take the compressor housing off and do this when i get all my gear HPC coated.
Its actually bigger than 3" snout. Its 80mm which fits perfect to the snout and 3" silicon still fits over. No I have enough clearnace from the gearbox even with the turbo sitting lower due to the new flange welded on. BUT I am using a B6T gearbox not a BP G-Series Box. Could use that flexi gear Rob uses. My new dump pipe is the problem, it goes right accross the front of the radiator hose inlet on the motor. Has not melted the hose yet with like 1mm clearance. |

hmmm HPC coating would be a good idea ... I wont be able to put it on the car for a while since I'm moving house soon so maybe I should get it done now. any idea how much just for the exhaust side and core?
do u think the funnel would make much difference ? |
